One Belle Avenue, Second Life

Some days you just get in the mood for period pieces...I know the first thing that went into your mind was the Victorian era or something very similar. I like to stay a bit more current than that. My last post was inspired by the 1940's, this post is a little more current, but still retro. I traveled to many new places (to me, that is), searching for the right pieces to complete the look.

I have enjoyed wearing this outfit and have been doing so for awhile now.  I feel like Lois Lane from the old Superman comics or some 1940's pinup girl. I wasn't going to blog this, but I've had quite a few requests for this outfit so here it goes :-)

Today, I am seeing red and not just clothes. I am sleepy....and therefore, pretty cranky, and the littlest things are pissing me off (GRRRR!) I think while I'm out, picking up dinner, I might just stop by Trader Joe's and pick up a few bottles of red Three Buck Chuck (for those of you who don't know, this is cheap, but yummy wine - cost $3 a bottle).

Here's my take on the Plurky Blogger Challenge - I am not the biggest fan of red but, for some reason, I love when red and black are together.

You've probably seen many blog posts in the past couple weeks concerning the Plurky Challenge.  I knew when I saw this week's (Gone but not Forgotten), I would have issues.  You see, I've been purging my inventory and getting rid of stuff I never wear or thought I would never wear again. Heck, I had over 60K in my inventory; some things had to go. I am proud to say I got just over 50K now. But it made this challenge EXTREMELY hard.
