One Belle Avenue, Second Life

I was just going through my Tumblr one day, browsing all the fun stuff that is always there, when I came across this house with these awesome windows. I just couldn't get over the windows. So, I closed Tumblr, logged into SL, and started building and stayed at it, until the next day, I was finished with the Paesano House.

The Paesano House is 187 prims, with custom sculpted doors, windows and railings. It has one large master bedroom, a back deck, perfect for some outdoor living, and a large living area with a menu-driven fireplace.

If you have been following my blog, you know that I like to decorate and that's how I decided to give you a tour of my new house.

I used the Still Water Table and Art set from Cheeky Pea in my entry. The table fit perfectly beneath the window. It's available this weekend for Super Bargain Saturday!

So today was one of my favorite events - Super Bargain Saturday.  I love the great mix of home and garden and fashion items. I tend to buy way too much on the weekends!

Cheeky Pea created a new house for this event called, Bella's House.



I rezzed it crazy fast and started to decorate!

First up, my favorite room in the house - the bedroom:

This room was so fun to decorate. I really liked the French doors that lead into the room.  Also, a little different was the window at the top of the wall instead of center. After a mini thinking session, I decided that I really liked it up like that.





Next on to the main room. I set up a living room on one side and a little kitchenette area on the opposite (picture and info will be shown later). This week, Awesome Blossom released for SBS a couch version of the Oversized Knit Chair. I love this!  It's so cozy!  It has some cute animations too - for singles and couples. But I will just show you the single because that's how I roll.

So onto my kitchenette area, as I was going thru my inventory, I realized I need some more kitchen items. *adds to the to-do, I mean, to-buy, list*

To the left, I set up a little desk area.



This is such a cute house!  It's on sale for 60L today (and Isla usually keeps her sale items available the entire weekend).  So get this exclusive SBS version while you can.  She plans to release the house with texture change (and different textures) in the future for 750L.

I so plan on living in this house for awhile :)  Can't wait to finish decorating it!

The moment I saw Awesome Blossom creator, Clementine Ishtari, plurk about her upcoming skybox - The Story of Home - I got excited. Some people are shoe people, some are skin people (I fall into that category), and some are house people. I collect skyboxes and houses like people buy outfits. I am constantly changing my homes around and that's why I think I like skyboxes so much. I just keep stacking them in the sky.  I've currently have 5 skyboxes up in different phases of decoration.

I instantly knew from the picture and ads how I would decorate the place. It reminded me of my first apartment after I had graduated from college. It was small yet open and homey, with hardwood floors and cracked plaster walls. The place simply charmed me as has this skybox. The skybox comes with a sculpted radiator, ceiling fan, wrought iron patio railing and a "Home Begins" wall decal. The skybox and included items is 36 prims - not too shabby (Skybox itself is 26 prims)!

So I'll now shut my mouth and get to my pictures.
