Every time I thought of this week's Color Challenge, I pictured Burnt Sienna and that didn't make me happy. I never liked that color and when I was younger and colored, I would never used it. I know, I'm such a color snob :-P

So I was happy when I saw Whippet & Buck's 50L Friday offering this week, I was happy.  I really liked this hue of Sienna. The top comes with multiple layers and that makes it easier to create outfits. And I know I have blogged Reek's Papercut Cardigans before, but they are one of my favorite items in my inventory. Speaking of favorites, I love long skirts (especially ones without systems skirts).



So in keeping with my blogging resolution for 2011, it's time for the location. This time I went to Farm House @ Lee County, MS, Mississippi Delta East.  There is a neighboring sim that you can visit as well. Think Rural, Farm Land and a nice big wooden water tower.

This will be a short post for me today. I spent most of my day tending to my sick little boy. Thankfully, he's finally resting his little head.  Speaking of kids, the Snowflake Experience opens tomorrow! The event will be raising money for the organization, Toys for Tots.  Please read my post from yesterday to get more info. The Snowflake Experience (TSE) is an event with over 60 vendors collaborating to help raise money for Toys For Tots. Each vendor will donate a portion or the full amount of their profits to Toys For Tots. I took a tour of the sim tonight while watching Santa Claus is Coming To Town. It's full of candy canes, snow, cabins and, my fave, gingerbread houses!

There are many exclusive items for this event, which starts December 4th, some of which I will show here today. There were so many goodies at TSE, I won't be able to fit it in this post today. Along with the vendor shops, there is a grid-wide TSE Hunt (search for those red and white candy canes) and for all those gacha lovers out there, there will be a Gacha Festival on December 10th.

So after completing last week's 52 Weeks of Color Challenge (link to my post), I went to post my blog URL on Luna's site and saw the color for this week - Goldenrod! And the first thought in my head was YIKES - This is gonna be a hard one! But then again, I got to do some shopping to pull this outfit together.

I'm bored!!! I've got to get out of this place!

Today was one of those days.  I got a lot of shopping in.  Participated in a lot of lag and crashing.  To console myself...I decided to have a Coke and proceeded to spill it on myself!


As you can imagine, I was not too happy!  I just bought these shorts today.  So I grabbed myself a beer this time and changed into another pair of shorts.  I was determined not to ruin these, but I was thirsty and I had a few more beers.

Ugh, I'm not feeling so well.

Just going to blog about the clothing I bought right now.  I'll write another post for the furnishings (since I create furniture myself, I have a special place in my heart for it).

First off, Tiny Bird never disappoints with their 50L Friday offerings.  The hairs are so cute and feminine. And this time around, a lovely dress with pockets, that now has me on the search for a hands in my pockets type of pose (well, it's added to my ever-growing list of places I've got to check out.  I need to start checking places off that list soon before it becomes a book LOL).






















Next up is the very casual outfit from Reek.  I love the color blue so that's in its favor.  Also, the shoes are awesome!  Love that they have different colors for the stripes.  I will be using these sandals and socks through out the summer months.  I had to go with some type of ponytail and this is one of my all time favorites from Magika.












































And my final stop (for clothes, that is) was Sand Shack Surf Co.  Each week they are part of 50L Friday's, I am finding more and more I like there.  This week, my hands were full with my purchases...but I'll just show you the 50L item :)  This gray striped sweater seems perfect for a spring night...maybe by a fire...or maybe at the beach after a long day of surfing...  Boy, as I write this, I so want to start looking into a RL vacation somewhere!

Okay, back to the post.  I've paired the sweater with a pair of Surf Co. jeans I picked up today while waiting for the FLF item to rez.  Do the shop owners do that on purpose?  LOL.
