I'm not going to say this challenge was hard for me, because it wasn't.  It just required me to go shopping, so I guess it was hard on my L's.  :-)

My inspiration came from the open front COCO jeans. I mean, I was tempted by dresses but as I huddled in my blankets, I just couldn't find the power to click pay on them. *Side note* The shirt from artilleri comes longer but then you couldn't see the undies.

Here's to another installment of Luna Jubilee's 52 Weeks of Color Challenge.  Week #5!  This week my inspiration was the Baffle Caribou that I blogged about a couple days ago. How does one draw a fashion post from an animal? Well, I remember a time when I was younger having to use my great-grandpa's outhouse (he lived on a farm way up in the northern, desolate part of Wisconsin) and I saw a deer in the snow on the way there. I thought it was the coolest thing ever!

The only thing that I had to purchase for this photoshoot was, of all things, the outhouse. :-)

Here we are with another installment of Luna Jubilee's 52 Weeks of Color Challenge. This week brings Plum. So, when I started my search, I began to realize every designer and even the interwebs had a different notion of what Plum was. So I'm going with what I think of when I hear Plum and I think of a deep dark purple. And with all these challenges, I can't make myself where all the same color. Maybe next week?  :-)

I am impressed with myself. I am now on week 2 of a challenge! *does a happy dance* What challenge am I talking about, you ask? It's the Luna Jubilee's 52 Weeks of Color Challenge. This week the challenge is the color Blue. This one is a hard for me. I am not a collector of blue. I actually try to stay away from it. But I did have two pieces in my inventory that I happen to love: my Surf Co. Belmar jeans and the Early Morning Cardigan from Fishy Strawberry. You've probably seen these jeans blogged by me like 100 times (an exaggeration I know, but I wear these A LOT) and I expect you'll see them in the future as well :-P

I love a good challenge and when I read about Luna Jubilee's 52 Weeks of Color Challenge, I decided to give it a go. I have been a bit of a slacker lately when it comes to my blogging. And this gives me a purpose to my blogging which I need because I have such a back log of awesome clothing I've purchased lately. I am hoping to use a mix of old and new items in the further challenges but for this week, you get to see all new items for the most part.

Joining me this time around is my dog, Izzie. I totally forgot that I had purchased her and she was so far down the Inventory folder chain, I felt sorry for her and rezzed her.  She's a cutie and looks very much like my RL dog, Bella.

There are those times when you see an outfit in the store and you just know that it is you. You fear once you try it on, it won't work. But when you finally get it all together and look at yourself, you are awed.  I felt this way with Shiki's Urban Cowgirl outfit (available at the IFW10 Event). It's going to be one of those outfits that I will probably leave on for a long while.

Today was one of those days.  I got a lot of shopping in.  Participated in a lot of lag and crashing.  To console myself...I decided to have a Coke and proceeded to spill it on myself!


As you can imagine, I was not too happy!  I just bought these shorts today.  So I grabbed myself a beer this time and changed into another pair of shorts.  I was determined not to ruin these, but I was thirsty and I had a few more beers.

Ugh, I'm not feeling so well.

I've accumulated a lot of stuff this week...my inventory creeped back above 40,000 items. This is my imaginary limit I have set for myself.  I'm thinking I might just increased that limit...maybe to 45,000 items...too many cute things that I just must have :)

Anyhoo...here are some of my favorite group gifts that I've picked up the past couple weeks. I can't say for sure if they are still there or not - SL has not liked me today going to places not my home. I think I probably need to clear cache, but I am so not looking forward to having my inventory load up.  20 minutes of being in ultra low lag location with nothing to do...not in the mood for that yet.

I love Friday to begin with, I mean, it's Friday.  But it's made better because of 50L Fridays.  I didn't buy all that much today (I went on a hair shopping spree earlier this week - gotta budget myself LOL).


I am loving that there are some really nice jean skirts out there. I've picked up a few of them the past couple weeks. I love the torn edge on Doppelganger Inc.'s 50L Friday offering. I love this tank by So Many Styles. The ribbon in the center looks like it a prim ribbon but it's not. Love that!

My hair is one of the new ones I got on my shopping spree. It's from lamb.

I now have to unpack the wondrous stuff I got from The Dressing Room's new collection! I'll be posting that either tonight or tomorrow.
