My Plurky Challenge Week # 2: Gone but not Forgotten
You've probably seen many blog posts in the past couple weeks concerning the Plurky Challenge. I knew when I saw this week's (Gone but not Forgotten), I would have issues. You see, I've been purging my inventory and getting rid of stuff I never wear or thought I would never wear again. Heck, I had over 60K in my inventory; some things had to go. I am proud to say I got just over 50K now. But it made this challenge EXTREMELY hard.
I could not find ANY hair in my inventory that fit this challenge. I've been buying Truth Hair since 2008, along with Magika. And I was not really around in SL during 2009. I have loads of hair BUT it's mostly from this year and the ones I have from earlier are the stores are still around (which we ALL love, right?). The same goes for my skin.
The first skin I bought was a Belleza in 2007 and as we know they are still around, as is every skin I have! Even the ones I've been lucky to score on hunts - all are around (or rebranded). So, I just used my go-to skin - Exodi.
BUT! I do have clothing and shoes that fit this challenge (YAY ME!) I tried so hard to stay away from Last Call, but I couldn't! I bought like every pair of shoes when they closed and then I was broke for a long while. Plus, I am not a shoes type of girl *GASP* I know, right? In RL I only have a few pairs of shoes that I wear regularly and that's because I like to be barefoot - I never said I was normal LOL!
And for my outfit, I picked something from JILL. This is a recent closing - I really liked this store and got a little sad-faced when I received the group notice that the store was going to close its doors.
My poses are from one of my favorite pose stores - Olive Juice. Using her poses totally make me fail this Challenge but I love her and can't help it :)
I hope I don't fail next week's challenge....maybe I shouldn't do any inventory cleaning until the Plurky Challenges are over???

JILL moved their shop to a new location and in honor of that put out a new group gift - a light and airy, blue baby doll tank that should be worn when the sky is bright blue and free of clouds. I just wish it wasn't rainy and dreary where I live now, instead I look out my window and dream of that day that is sure to come.
